Trossard Out! Arsenal Agree €20m Deal to Sell Winger to Besiktas

Leandro Trossard is leaving Arsenal, with the Belgian attacker set to join Turkish club Besiktas in a €20 million transfer.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the breakthrough on Monday: the Gunners have struck a deal worth €18m plus €2m in add-ons. Trossard is expected to travel to Istanbul shortly for his medical and to finalise the move.

The 31-year-old joined Arsenal from Brighton in 2023 and went on to make 174 appearances, scoring 36 goals. Last season he featured 50 times as Mikel Arteta’s side clinched the Premier League title for the first time since 2004, while also reaching the EFL Cup and Champions League finals.

Trossard contributed eight goals across all competitions in 2025-26, with his last strike coming in a decisive 1-0 victory over West Ham that helped Arsenal end their 22-year wait for the league crown.

As the former Seagull heads for a new adventure in the Süper Lig, Arsenal are actively hunting reinforcements in attack.

Their top target is Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, who is currently at the World Cup with England. They have also been linked with PSG star Bradley Barcola.

Further back, the Gunners remain keen on Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimarães, with personal terms reportedly agreed — though the Magpies are holding firm on their £100m-valued midfielder.
